843 FZUS63 KMQT 301401 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 1001 AM EDT Tue Jun 30 2026 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.4 inch low will rotate around Lake Winnipeg, deepening to 29.1 inches this morning. This low wobbles around southern Manitoba today, weakening to 29.5 inches as it crosses northern Ontario tomorrow. Thursday morning, the low will further weaken to 29.6 inches over northern Quebec while 30.0 inch high pressure builds over the US Southeast and northern Manitoba and broad 29.8 inch low pressure spreads over the High Plains. Friday into the weekend, the high over Canada moves into Hudson Bay, building to 30.1 inches.
