168 FZUS63 KMQT 120301 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 1001 PM EST Tue Nov 11 2025 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.4 inch trough over Lake Superior this evening departs into eastern Ontario Wednesday morning as a 29.3 inch low moves over Hudson Bay. By Wednesday night, the lake will be between 30.1 inch ridging over the Midwest and a deep 28.4 inch low over Labrador. Ridging builds to 30.0 inches over the lake Thursday night ahead of a 29.4 inch trough moving out of the northern Rockies. This trough looks to move across Lake Superior at around 29.4 inches on Saturday.
