Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A weak 30.0 inch trough remains over eastern Lake Superior this morning as high pressure builds to the south and west through the rest of the work week. Remnant troughing gradually weakens over the lake through Thursday before strong high pressure around 31.0 inches descending from the Canadian Prairies brings ridging of around 30.6 inches back over the lake by Friday. Ridging remains over the lake this weekend, weakening to 30.2 inches on Sunday as a 29.9 inch trough approaches from the northwest early next week.
