Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 30.5 inch high pressure moving into the Eastern Seaboard later
today continues to extend a 30.2 inch ridge over Lake Superior the
rest of today into this evening. Monday, a 29.4 inch low lifts from
Colorado into the Northern Plains, then heads towards the Upper
Mississippi Valley at 29.6 inches Monday night and Tuesday. Pressure
falls over Lake Superior from 30.1 inches Monday morning to 29.7
inches Tuesday morning. The Colorado low then slowly trudges
eastward from southern Minnesota throughout Wednesday before
arriving over Upper Michigan Wednesday night at 29.7 inches.
Meanwhile, pressure over Lake Superior remains near 29.7 inches.
Thursday into Friday, the low departs swiftly northeast toward
Newfoundland while remaining at 29.7 inches and ridging to 30.0
inches builds in over Lake Superior.
