Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.7 inch Clipper over Lake Superior today lifts into James Bay
overnight. By Thursday morning, a 30.1 inch high pressure over
Manitoba starts stretching towards Lake Superior. This high moves
over the lake by Friday morning before continuing into New England
on Saturday. Saturday night, a low pressure over the Central to
Northern Plains deepens to 29.6 inches. This low approaches the
Great Lakes by early next week, with heights over Lake Superior
falling to 29.8 inches by Monday afternoon.
