For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.4 inches centered over Lower Michigan this
morning shifts southeast today through Thursday, weakening to 30.2
inches by tonight as it moves over the Ohio River Valley. Meanwhile,
a 29.8 inch trough approaches from the northwest, moving over Lake
Superior on Thursday. Troughing persists over the lake through
Friday, deepening to 29.7 inches. Weak ridging of 30.0 inches
returns this weekend.
