243 FZUS63 KMQT 252101 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 400 PM EST Tue Nov 25 2025 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.7 inch low currently over Minneapolis will deepen to 29.4 inches over eastern Upper Michigan by Wednesday afternoon. By Thursday, the low will shift into Quebec, maintining 29.4 inches. Meanwhile, a 30.6 inch high will develop over the Canadian Prairie. With the low lifting further northeast for Friday, the high will weaken slightly to 30.5 inches as it moves into the Mississippi River Valley. The high then shifts over the Lower Great Lakes Saturday morning while 29.7 inch low pressure develops over the OK Panhandle. This low ejects northeast, reaching the Upper Great Lakes at 29.7 inches Sunday afternoon. Monday, the low will lift into Quebec at 29.5 inches while 30.5 inch high pressure builds over the Central Plains.
