Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.7 inch low over northern Lake Michigan tracks over the Straits
of Mackinac this evening before further deepening to 29.4 inches
over western Quebec by Sunday morning. A weak 30.1 inch trough
passes over the lake Sunday night into Monday. Monday afternoon,
30.6 inch high pressure resides over North Dakota before moving over
Wisconsin Tuesday morning. The high shifts to the Lower Great Lakes
Tuesday night as a 29.5 inch low organizes along the
Montana/Saskatchewan border. This low moves over the Northwest Angle
Wednesday night before moving north of the lake through Thursday
morning.
