For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.4 inch low over far northeastern Ontario this afternoon reaches
James Bay by this evening, then continues into northern Quebec on
Wednesday. Weak ridging of 30.1 inches builds over the lake on
Wednesday between 30.3 inch high pressure over the Canadian Prairie
and 29.7 inch troughing over the Eastern Seaboard. High pressure
gradually strengthens to 30.2 inches over the lake through Friday as
the Canadian high shifts east to northern Ontario and Hudson Bay.
Weak troughing of 29.9 inches moves over the lake late on Saturday
and strengthens to 29.7 inches through Sunday as low pressure
deepens to 29.6 inches over James Bay.
