Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 30.1 inch high pressure over northern Manitoba stretches towards Lake Superior today through tonight, eventually becoming centered over Lake Superior at 30.2 inches by Friday morning before continuing into New England on Saturday. Saturday night, a low pressure over the Central to Northern Plains deepens to 29.6 inches. This low approaches the Great Lakes over the course of early next week, with heights over Lake Superior falling to 29.8 inches by Monday afternoon.
