223 FZUS63 KMQT 140301 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 1001 PM EST Thu Nov 13 2025 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 30.0 inch ridge over Lake Superior shifts east by early Friday morning as a 29.2 inch low moves out of southern Alberta. This low will reach northern Manitoba by Saturday morning extending a 29.5 inch trough across Lake Superior. Afterwards, low pressure over New England on Sunday will deepen to 28.8 inches as it moves into Labrador by Monday night. Meanwhile a 30.2 inch high will build from the Dakotas north into northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with Lake Superior sitting between this high and the low over eastern Canada.
