Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

29.6 inch low pressure is moving into Lower Michigan this evening
while a 29.7 inch trough is dropping over Lake Superior. These two
features merge into a 29.5 inch low over southern Ontario Thursday
morning while a 29.9 inch high moves over northern Ontario. Weak
29.8 inch ridging then remains over Lake Superior until Friday. On
Saturday, a 29.6 inch trough moves over Lake Superior followed by
29.7 inch troughing remaining over the lake through the rest of the
weekend.
