Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 30.3 inch high pressure over the Upper Great Lakes will slowly
shift east through Saturday and build to 30.4 inches. This will keep
ridging of 30.2 inches over the lake through Sunday. The ridge will
weaken to 30.0 inches as the high moves to the Eastern Seaboard on
Monday. A 29.6 inch Colorado low develops on Monday and moves into
Minnesota by Tuesday morning. This low passes north of Lake Superior
into northern Ontario Tuesday night at 29.5 inches, dragging
troughing of at least 29.6 inches over the western half of the lake
Tuesday into Wednesday.
