328 FZUS63 KMQT 142001 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 401 PM EDT Sun Jun 14 2026 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.8 inch trough departs east of Lake Superior this evening. Weak ridging of 29.7 inches follows into Monday, but a 29.6 inch trough moves through the lake late Monday into Tuesday. This trough will deepen into a 29.5 inch low over northeast Wisconsin Tuesday. This low will then slowly move east-northeast into Ontario through Wednesday morning. A low of 29.4 inches moves then through the Great Lakes region Wednesday night and Thursday.
