For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 inch high pressure over the Mid-Mississippi
Valley this afternoon and evening moves into the western Great
Lakes by Thursday morning. High pressure ridging continues over
the Great Lakes at 30.0 inches Friday into Saturday despite the
remnants of a 29.5 inch tropical system over the Southeast and a
29.8 inch low over Hudson Bay. High pressure ridging builds over
the Upper Great Lakes to 30.1 inches Sunday as a 30.2 inch high
pressure moves into northern Ontario from the west. The ridging
remains until Monday, when a 29.5 inch low lifting towards Hudson
Bay brings troughing of at least 29.7 inches back over the Lake
Superior.
