Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.3 inch low near Lake Winnipeg tonight moves to southern Hudson Bay at 29.4 inches by Tuesday afternoon, bringing 29.7 inch troughing across Lake Superior. 30.2 inch high pressure develops over the Northern Plains on Tuesday, strengthening to 30.4 inches as it crosses the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday. High pressure ridging of 30.2 to 30.3 inches then looks to remain over Lake Superior through the rest of the workweek.
