864 FZUS63 KMQT 302001 GLFLS Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior National Weather Service Marquette MI 401 PM EDT Tue Jun 30 2026 For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A 29.2 inch low will remain stalled near Lake Winnipeg tonight and gradually weaken to 29.5 inches by Wednesday morning. It will then weaken further with a broad 29.6 inch low over Ontario and Quebec by late Wednesday afternoon. The low will push toward the Hudson Bay and Quebec Wednesday night into Thursday dragging a 29.7 inch trough over Lake Superior. Thereafter a 30.0 inch high will build over Ontario, extending south into the Upper Great Lakes through the weekend.
