Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Ridging builds over Lake Superior to 30.3 inches by this evening as
30.7 inch high pressure builds over the Great Plains. The ridge
weakens to 29.9 inches by Monday night ahead of a 29.4 inch trough
that`s expected to move across the lake Tuesday night into
Wednesday. By Wednesday night, the lake will be between 30.1 inch
ridging over the Plains and a deep 28.7 inch low east of Hudson Bay.
Ridging builds to 30.1 inches over the lake on Thursday.
