Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A weak 29.9 inch trough moves into the Upper Great Lakes this evening. This is followed by weak 29.9 inch ridging Sunday ahead of a deeper 29.8 inch trough moving over the lake on Monday. Ridging builds to 30.2 inches over the lake on Tuesday, giving way to pressure falls into the middle of the week as a 29.3 inch low lifts off of the Central Rockies into the Upper Midwest by Wednesday.
