Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure ridging of 30.1 inches over Lake Superior remains
through Sunday night. The ridge briefly builds further to 30.2
inches on Monday as a 30.4 inch high passes eastward over far
northern Ontario. Meanwhile, a 29.6 inch low develops off the
northern Rockies. The low then tracks northeast to eastern Hudson
Bay, deepening to 29.2 inches by Wednesday afternoon. This sends a
29.7 inch trough over Lake Superior Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Weak ridging of 29.9 inches returns to Lake Superior by the end of
Thursday.
