...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of west central Illinois, including the following
  areas, Adams IL, Brown IL and Pike IL and northeast Missouri,
  including the following areas, Knox MO, Lewis MO, Marion MO and
  Shelby MO.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Repeated thunderstorms with rain rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour
    may lead to locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding. Total rain
    amounts of 3 to 6 inches will be possible in narrow corridors.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
