PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Louisiana.

* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The first quarter mile of Edison Avenue
  beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
    at 12:30 PM CDT Saturday was 15.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 12.5 feet by Wednesday,
    September 30.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  flooding just east of the levee.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 25.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
    at 12:30 PM CDT Saturday was 25.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.5 feet
    this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
