Temperatures stay below average through most of the next week,
with the exception of Wednesday, with largely-dry conditions. The
rain chances in the forecast are relegated to central and
southern Missouri through Tuesday. Minimum RH values will
gradually tick upward as temperatures cool and low-level moisture
stagnates. After a threat for scattered showers areawide on
Wednesday, much cooler and drier air arrives Thursday. Mixing
will remain fairly inefficient through the forecast period with
cool and cloudy conditions in place with weak boundary layer
winds. The best mixing will likely be Wednesday, coinciding with
our warmest day.
