Light northerly winds will gradually shift to the east tonight
and then to southeast on Monday. This will set up a sharp
contrast in temperatures today with highs in the 70s over
northeast Missouri and west central Illinois and mainly in the
80s elsewhere. Highs most of the rest of this week will be above
normal. While there will be low chances (20-30%) for showers and
thunderstorms over the area through Monday, there will be better
chances (50-80%) for a wetting rain with a cold front across
northeast Missouri and west central Illinois Tuesday into
Wednesday.
