.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will persist through the
afternoon, decreasing in coverage this evening. Coverage of showers and
thunderstorms will be lower over the weekend and highest on Saturday east
of the Mississippi River. However, high RH and poor ventilation rates will
also be common over the weekend with light winds and seasonable mixing
heights. Warmer temperatures and continued opportunities for showers and
thunderstorms are forecast next week.
