Hot and humid weather is expected to continue along and south of
I- 70 today, with heat index readings of 100-108 degrees. There
is a chance that clouds and showers will move over the area today
which would keep temperatures several degrees cooler, and lower
the heat index as well. A cold front will move slowly from
northeast to southwest across the area through Wednesday morning.
Wednesday and Thursday will be cooler and less humid behind the
front. The next significant chance for rain will begin Thursday
night and continue through Saturday.
