Scattered showers are forecast to continue today with dry
conditions prevailing for most. The next, more widespread chance
for a potentially significant rain will arrive from the west by
Tuesday night, expanding eastward to the entire area by Thursday.
The most rainfall is expected to fall across central/northeast MO
and west- central IL, with the entire area likely (60%) seeing at
least some rainfall this week. Seasonably cool temperatures for
some, today and Monday, gradually warm up through the week. By
the middle of the week, temperatures are forecast to be slightly
above normal before near normal temperatures return by next
weekend.
