Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
801 PM CDT Tue Aug 19 2025

Temperatures and humidity will decline behind today`s cold front,
with notable changes in sensible weather taking hold by tomorrow.
Despite the cooler, drier airmass, relative humidity will still
only bottom out in the 50s and 60s percent tomorrow and Thursday.
Another cold front will pass through the region Friday night into
Saturday, scouring out the heat and humidity even further.
Through the end of the week mostly dry conditions with sustained
winds generally under 10 mph are expected.
