Heat will return today, accompanied by dry conditions, light
winds, and minimum RH of 30 to 45 percent. Heat continues
Wednesday along with increasing humidity as a cold front moves
southward, accompanied by southwesterly winds veering to
northwesterly and increasing showers and thunderstorms. Showers
and thunderstorms will be most widespread Wednesday evening into
Thursday morning with a wetting rain across most of the area.
Cooler, more seasonable temperatures are anticipated on Thursday
as showers come to an end. Above-average temperatures and
periodic showers and thunderstorms will characterize conditions
over the weekend into early next week.
