Forecast is based on ignition time of 1100 CST on March 01.
If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the
National Weather Service.
.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures at ignition will be in the mid to upper 30s beneath
cloudy skies. Thanks to these cloudy skies and east-northeasterly
winds, temperatures will only warm into the mid-40s. Winds will
become increasingly easterly this evening and overnight as the
chance for precipitation increases. Chances for precipitation ramp
up between 6 and 9pm this evening, with 100% chance for
precipitation tonight. This precipitation will fall as a wintry
mix, with rain, snow, sleet possible at times, with a low chance
for freezing rain. A transition to predominantly rain is expected
early Monday morning, with rain ending by approximately 9am. Due to
the precipitation ending as rain and temperatures warming above
freezing during the morning, any wintry accumulation will be
short lived. Temperatures will warm into the mid 40s once again
Monday afternoon with winds being light and east-southeasterly.
