...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
  counties, Hockley, Lubbock, Lynn and Terry.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 228 AM CDT, Thunderstorms were exiting the advisory area,
    however earlier heavy rainfall produced between 0.5 and 1
    inch of rain which resulted in minor flooding.
  - Little to no additional rainfall is expected, although runoff
    from earlier heavy rains will prolong minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lubbock, Wolfforth, Slide, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Reese
    Center, Texas Tech University, Meadow, Ropesville, New Home
    and Lubbock Science Spectrum.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
