.DISCUSSION...
Minimum humidities will remain low Saturday, falling into the
teens during the day. Westerly 20 foot winds will be breezy,
potentially approaching 20 mph in the afternoon. While temperatures
will be a few degrees cooler than today, fire weather concerns
remain elevated, particularly for the southern Rolling Plains where
it is slightly warmer. These concerns will subside Sunday behind a
relatively stronger cold front.
Widespread elevated fire danger will be possible Monday as afternoon
humidity drops to around 11 percent as afternoon temperatures rise into
the mid 80s to low 90s. 20 foot winds will be out of the west around
15 mph during the afternoon.
