.DISCUSSION...
Southerly surface winds will increase this afternoon to around 20
mph, particularly on the Caprock. Minimum humidities will fall to
near 30% and highs will be similar to yesterday, generally in the
mid-to-upper 80s. Friday will see slightly warmer and drier, but
less breezy conditions. Despite ERCs increasing over the southern
Rolling Plains, fire weather concerns remain low until Saturday
and Monday when 15 to 25 mph westerly winds combine with RHs in
the teens and above-normal highs.
