.DISCUSSION...
Surface winds will gradually shift to the east throughout the rest
of the day. However, fire weather concerns remain low due to light
wind speeds and high humidity. Thunderstorm chances will increase
late this evening and through the overnight hours as a complex of
storms moves across portions of West Texas from the west. Some
strong to even severe wind gusts >60 mph will be possible with
storms during the evening hours. Heavy rainfall will result in
localized flash flooding.
