.DISCUSSION...
Low fire weather concerns expected today, as temperatures remain a
few degrees cooler than previous, as a cold front continues to surge
southward through the area. The front is currently parked across the
far southwestern Texas Panhandle as of 12PM CST Monday. This front
is currently near stationary but is expected to progress southward
slowly throughout the day exiting the FA sometime after midnight. As
temperatures remain slightly cooler, relative humidity values will
remain above the 20th percentile. Behind the front, winds are
expected to remain light less than 15 mph as they shift out of the
northeast. While ahead of the front, light southerly wind speeds are
expected to prevail.
