.DISCUSSION...
Following favorable RH recoveries of 70 to 90 percent, RHs will
bottom out in the 30s for Saturday afternoon with southwesterly
winds of 10 to 15 mph. Some thunderstorms should develop on the
Caprock in the afternoon and spread east through the evening
accompanied by strong winds and brief downpours. Fire starts from
lightning could be more problematic off the Caprock where ERCs are
highest. Daily chances for storms continue next week with cooler
temperatures by Monday.
