.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain low today, as minimum RH values will be
between 20-25 percent, with the exception of the southwestern South
Plains where RH values in the upper teens are expected. Southwest
winds will become slightly breezy this afternoon, or between 10-15
mph, with temperatures peaking in the lower-middle 60s. Mixing
heights will be capped near 1.5-km AGL and prevent further warming
from occurring. Winds will diminish quickly after sunset, becoming
calm overnight, with RH recovery above 70 percent. West-southwest
winds will ramp up once again Tuesday, with warmer temperatures.
