This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorm chances return late this evening through Sunday morning
with the highest chances mainly to the east and north of an Olton to
Guthrie line. The strongest storms will be capable of producing wind
gusts up to 60 mph and heavy rainfall which may result in localized
flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Additional thunderstorms are possible on Sunday afternoon and
evening, favoring locations near and off the Caprock. A couple of
these storms could be strong to severe and produce locally heavy
rainfall and minor flooding.

Triple digit heat will affect most of the region from Wednesday
through at least Friday. A few spots, especially off the Caprock,
may see highs approaching 105 degrees.
