This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms are forecast to move across the South Plains region
this evening into Saturday morning. Heavy rainfall will lead to a
localized risk of flash flooding. A few storms may be severe,
capable of producing damaging wind gusts near 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Chances for storms, some severe, will return Saturday afternoon
across portions of the forecast area, with locally heavy rainfall
and strong gusts in excess of 50 mph expected. Thunderstorm chances
will then increase area-wide Saturday night, with a greater risk for
flash flooding Saturday night and into Sunday morning across the
entire forecast area.
