Hot conditions are expected today with highs near or just above 105 degrees. A Heat Advisory is in effect until 9 PM for much of the South Plains. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms east of I-27 this evening. The threat for severe weather is low overall, but some storms may produce strong wind gusts and large hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. There is a low chance of thunderstorms across the Rolling Plains Wednesday afternoon. Some storms may produce strong wind gusts and large hail.
