This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected
across the region today. Storms may move repeatedly over the same
areas, which combined with high rainfall rates may result in flash
flooding. The threat for flooding is highest across the southwestern
Texas Panhandle and northwest South Plains, and a Flood Watch is in
effect for these areas.

A few of the storms today may be strong to severe, with wind gusts up
to 70 mph and perhaps a brief tornado or two.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Additional showers and storms are possible through Wednesday night.
The Flood Watch for the southwestern Texas Panhandle and northwest
portions of the South Plains remains in effect through midday
Wednesday. There is potential for heavy rain leading to isolated
flooding off the Caprock Wednesday night.
