.SYNOPSIS FOR THE TIDAL POTOMAC AND MD PORTION OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY...

High pressure will build across the Mid-Atlantic today, then move
offshore through the end of the week as a cold front approaches from
 the west. This front will stall near the area this weekend when a
wave of low pressure may pass nearby or to the south. High pressure
will likely return early next week. Small Craft Advisories may be
needed at times in south to southwest flow Thursday evening through
Friday afternoon, then in northerly flow Friday night into Saturday.
