...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Virginia, including the following
  county, Fairfax.

* WHEN...Until 715 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 414 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. Flooding
    is already occurring along Accotink Creek. Between 0.5 and
    1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Annandale...                       Ravensworth...
    Fairfax...                         Mantua...
  - This includes the following Flood Prone Roads...
    Woodburn Road at Accotink Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
