.DISCUSSION...

For today, dry conditions are expected to start this morning, with a
chance for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into this evening.
Any storms today may be capable of producing very heavy rainfall and
damaging winds. Thunderstorm activity should wind down during the
evening hours, giving way to dry conditions during the second half of
the night.

Mostly sunny skies are expected tomorrow morning into early tomorrow
afternoon. There will be around a 30 percent chance for a shower or
thunderstorm later tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow evening. If a
storm were to impact Annapolis, it would likely be brief in duration,
but could potentially produce damaging winds. Outside of thunderstorms
winds tomorrow should generally be out of the west to southwest at
around 10 mph, with gusts of 15 to 20 mph. Temperatures tomorrow
should reach into the lower 90s, then drop back from the lower 90s
into the upper 80s over the course of the event from 5-7 PM.
