.DISCUSSION...

While everyday will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms,
today`s best chances will remain west of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
On Thursday, chances will spread more eastward and have a greater
risk of producing damaging wind gusts. Any thunderstorm will have
the potential to produce an inch or two of rain per hour.

Another cold front nears the area by late Friday before settling
nearby this weekend into early next week. Overall, warm and humid
weather will continue with daily shower and thunderstorm chances
throughout much of the week. Isolated instances of flash flooding
are possible at times given tropical moisture over the area.
