.DISCUSSION...

A few afternoon showers are possible as a frontal system approaches
from the west. Away from heavier showers, total rainfall amounts
should average around a tenth of an inch or less.

Behind this system, conditions turn cold and blustery on Monday
and Tuesday. Any precipitation chances are relegated to the
Allegheny Front where upslope snow showers will be commonplace.
Daytime relative humidities begin to fall into the 25 to 40
percent range on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is accompanied by
moderate overnight recoveries. Daytime gusts early in the week
will be around 20 to 30 mph, locally reaching 35 to 45 mph across
the Alleghenies. Further drying of fuels is likely in this
pattern. Additional fire weather concerns may loom as temperatures
moderate by the middle of the week.
