.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will stall across the area through this weekend,
bringing multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Conditions Saturday morning begin cloudy, with a light drizzle and
patchy fog possible. The clouds will be very slow to dissipate,
with intermittent sunshine only during the mid to late afternoon.

A period of dry conditions from late morning to early afternoon,
then scattered to widespread showers are expected to develop
around the event site during the afternoon to evening. The most
likely time will be from 4PM to 10PM. However, there does remain
uncertainty regarding where and when thunderstorms develop during
the day, as this will be influenced by where the front and any
outflow boundaries are located - something that won`t be
completely known until Saturday morning.

Heavy rainfall is likely with some storms, and this could result
in flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas. Gusty winds and
frequent lightning strikes will be other threats to monitor.

Some showers and thunderstorms will linger late into the evening
and overnight hours Saturday night.
