This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Sunday evening through
late Monday night for southern Maryland, central and northern
Virginia, as well as the Washington D.C. metro area. Snow is
expected during this period, which could mix with freezing rain
and sleet at times.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from late Sunday through late
Monday for Howard County Maryland northward, including the
Baltimore area. Significant travel delays and closures are likely,
so plan ahead to minimize impacts on you and your family.

late Monday night for central and northern Virginia, along with
portions of the the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. Snow is
expected during this period, which could mix with freezing rain
and sleet at times.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from late Sunday through late
Monday for central Maryland and eastern West Virginia. Significant
travel delays and closures are likely, so plan ahead to minimize
impacts on you and your family.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Allegheny Front
counties in western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and Highland
County Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Cold Weather Advisories are in effect from western Highland County
up to western Grant County until 6 AM Sunday morning. Temperatures
in the single digits and low teens will combine with strong winds
to create wind chills values to around 15 below zero.

Additionally, strong winds are possible in the higher elevations
through tonight, which could cause isolated wind damage and power
outages.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Sunday evening through
late Monday night along the Allegheny Front. Snow is expected
during this period, which could mix with freezing rain and sleet
at times.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from late Sunday through late
Monday for eastern Allegany County. Significant travel delays and
closures are likely, so plan ahead to minimize impacts on you and
your family.
