...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay from Drum Point MD to Smith Point VA...
Tangier Sound and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island...
Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA...

At 930 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 nm south of Nomini Bay to near Yeocomico River to
near Smith Point, moving northeast at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
         suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

Yeocomico River, Breton Bay, Saint Clements Bay, Smith Island, Piney
Point, Deep Hole, Mouth Of The Potomac River, Southwest Middle
Grounds, Ewell, Point Lookout, Tall Timbers, Tangier Sound, Coltons
Point, Nomini Bay, Coles Point, Saint George Island, Point No Point,
The Targets, Richland Point Buoy, and White Point Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
