River valley fog remains in place west of the Blue Ridge
Mountains this morning. Locally dense fog with visibility less
than one quarter mile is occurring in some locations. Expect the
fog to be lifting by 9 AM.

If driving, be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow
down and use low beam headlights when encountering dense fog.
