...PIKESVILLE NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER OCCASIONALLY OFF THE
AIR...

The Pikesville NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KEC-83, located in
Pikesville, Maryland and broadcasting on a frequency of 162.400
Megahertz, has encountered a mechanical error that will cause it to
intermittently go off the air. Technicians have identified the
issue, but will be unable to make any repairs until at least later
today. Listeners on this frequency should have alternative methods
to receive weather watches and warnings. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.
