High pressure builds across New England, while an area of low
pressure passes by to the south. Light wintry precipitation
chances return through this afternoon as this system tracks
nearby. This comes with well below normal temperatures.

High pressure briefly returns this weekend as temperatures
slightly moderate. A strong clipper-like system moves through late
Sunday bringing another round of cold air to the region by
Monday. Canadian high pressure builds over the eastern U.S. early
next week before another clipper-like system approaches from the
west by mid-week.
