Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Excessive heat and humidity return today ahead of a strong cold
front approaching from the Ohio River Valley. The cold front will
cross the region late this evening into early Thursday morning
bringing the next risk for strong to severe thunderstorms. High
pressure briefly returns from the north and west late Thursday
into Friday. Unsettled conditions are possible this weekend which
comes with increasing heat and humidity. A cold front exits the
area late in the weekend with high pressure returning for the
start of the next work week.
