Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
1143 AM EDT Thu Oct 1 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure positioned off the coast will provide well above
normal temperatures through Friday. A cold front will approach
from the northwest Friday afternoon and push southward Friday
night, bringing a chance of showers. This front will stall nearby
this weekend, when a wave of low pressure could bring more rain to
some areas. A second cold front will sweep through on Monday,
followed by Canadian high pressure and below normal temperatures
heading into the remainder of next week.
